I really love the colors of the leaves in this picture. It was taken in the fall so I got a wide variety...and by turning up the saturation, they really stand out.

In this picture the main thing is contrast. I held the flower in front of a window so the background is really bright, and by turning up the contrast in my editor I was able to make the flower really stand out. Also, i got a really cool effect from the light shining through the flower.

This picture is made up of some pictures I took a little while ago. To get the look you see here, I left the shutter on my camera open for a long time in a very dark room, and used my iPod to spell out the letters. I knew a little bit about shutter speed, and was just experimenting with it.

So, this is probably one of my favorite pictures I've taken. I really love the color, because yellow is my favorite color. (: Also, I like that the flower is in focus and the background is blurry. That's something I like to do in a lot of my pictures. But, recently I've been trying new things so a lot of my newer pictures aren't like that as much.
